Accepting New Clients! Bilingual child/teen therapist offering services in French or English!
Counselling for Children
Together, we can support your child age 5-12 years. We are committed to providing emotional support in a safe, accepting, and compassionate space so your child can work through a difficult time. We will help your child to acquire new tools and skills to better manage what they are struggling with. We work through engaging in psychotherapy (talk-therapy) with the help of various therapeutic activities. Some of these may include expressive visual arts, play therapy, and/or sand tray.
Adolescent (Teen) Counselling
Navigating the teen years comes with it's own set of challenges. We're here to provide a safe, comfortable space for your youth age 13-18 years to share their struggles and show up as they are. We work to help youth better manage the stressors and challenges faced in their day-to-day lives. Sessions involve engaging in psychotherapy (talk-therapy), and can also include visual expressive arts activities and sand tray.
Parent Counselling and Support
Whether your child is a toddler or teenager, we can work together to help ensure you have the support you need and a plan to move forward. Sometimes as a parent, we just need to be heard, to have some validation, some direction, and strategies.
We really believe that strengthening your understanding of and connection to your child is hugely important. This connection often acts as a catalyst to help your child or teen feel secure, "good enough," and make positive changes.
Counselling for Young Adults
The transition into adulthood can be particularly tough. You may have transitioned into college or university and are having trouble coping and balancing it all. Perhaps you've experienced something tough or unexpected like a breakup or a death of a loved one. You may be really struggling with anxiety or depression. If you are under 25 years, we can provide a safe, confidential space to help you process what you need and better cope with life's challenges.
What to Expect
At Circle of Support Counselling, we partner with you to care for your child or youth and help support their growth and well-being.
If desired, every new client can book a free 20-minute consultation to help determine fit for your family. By following the link to our secure Jane booking system, you can schedule an initial first appointment or the "meet and greet" free consultation.
